We are thrilled to announce that the Association Whitewater Professionals selected the Great Falls Race as the Extreme Kayak American Championship 2020. We will host the traditional Great Falls Race and the AWP American Championships events concurrently during August 14-15, 2020 on the Potomac River near Washington, DC. Race format, event details, and registration coming soon.
The AWP 2020 series includes the Extreme Kayak World Championships at Ekstremsportveko, Norway during June 21-28, the European Championships at King of the Alps, Italy during June 5-7, and a points Ranking Race at Slalom 7 Soeurs / Seven Sisters Slalom Race, Quebec, Canada in late August.
